The Laborer for the Processing Department will work under the direction of the Production Supervisor or Production Shift Lead.

The Laborer will be responsible for performing and assisting other departments in the overall duties needed throughout the production department.

Any safety concerns should be presented to the Production Supervisor or Production Shift Lead.

Pay: $18.00 Seasonal Position Duties and Responsibilities: Shovel rice in bins to level product for drying and shoveling to empty out bins, never introduce product at any point in the process without instruction from Operator, Production Supervisor, or Production Shift Lead.

Help keep the overall appearance of the facility, sweeping and general clean up to maintain all areas clean always, other tasks given by the Production Supervisor.

Operate forklift a plus but not required.

Assisting in the Mill production lines as needed.

Follow Riviana Foods Safety and Accident Prevention Rules.

Following GMP's, sweep spilled product from floors immediately, keep areas cleaned and organized, tools picked up and in the designated tool stations when not in use.

Perform all work in accordance with company standards and established safety procedures.

Demonstrates positive and a can-do attitude, confidence, endurance and constructively handle conflicts.

Work alongside others or independently to complete projects Job Requirements: This position requires a person experienced and/or ability in the following: Good communication skills relating to employee.

Basic knowledge of GMP's, Organic Handling Procedures, Food Plant Security, Glass and Hard Plastic, and Safety programs.

Dependable and flexible to rotate shifts work overtime.

Disciplined work style towards tasks; a flexible style towards people Can follow instructions.
