Network Implementation Engineer

Job Description

Akkodis is seeking a Network Implementation Engineer for a Contract job with a client in (Remote). Responsibilities include implementing and automating complex data center networks using Cisco Nexus or Arista switches and troubleshooting in both greenfield and brownfield environments.

Rate Range: $60/hour to $62/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Network Implementation Engineer job responsibilities include:

Design, implement, and support complex data center network solutions using Cisco Nexus Fabric or Arista switches.

Automate network configurations and deployments using Ansible as the primary tool and Python as a secondary scripting language.

Troubleshoot and resolve network issues in both greenfield and brownfield environments with minimal supervision.

Configure and manage advanced routing protocols such as VXLAN, BGP, EVPN, and OSPF.

Utilize Arista CloudVision Portal (CVP) for centralized network management and visibility.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and performance of network infrastructure.

Desired Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Minimum of 7 years in data center network engineering.

Strong hands-on experience with Cisco Nexus Fabric or Arista switches, including Arista CloudVision Portal (CVP).

Deep knowledge of VXLAN, BGP, EVPN, and OSPF, with proven ability to implement and troubleshoot in complex environments.

Pay Details: $60.00 to $62.00 per hour
