DevOps engineer (GCP, AI)

Job Description

Akkodis is seeking a DevOps engineer (GCP, AI) for a contract job with a client in Dearborn, MI. You will design and deploy scalable cloud infrastructure solutions using GCP and CI/CD tools in a collaborative, agile environment.

Rate Range: $65/hour to 70/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

DevOps engineer (GCP, AI) job responsibilities include:

Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to support scalable AI and data-driven applications.

Automate deployment pipelines using CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Tekton, and Cloud Build to ensure rapid and reliable software delivery.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, developers, and product owners to integrate AI/ML models into production environments.

Monitor and optimize system performance using GCP-native tools and ensure high availability, security, and compliance.

Develop infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform and manage configurations across environments.

Support real-time and batch data processing workflows using tools like Dataflow, Pub/Sub, BigQuery, and Vertex AI.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in GCP engineering and DevOps practices.

Strong expertise in GCP infrastructure and services, including BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, and Vertex AI.

Proficiency in CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Tekton), containerization (Docker), and scripting languages like Python or Java.

Pay Details: $65.00 to $70.00 per hour
