Job Description:

The ideal candidate (will be expected to perform) represents a senior-level technical leadership role responsible for managing complex electronics engineering initiatives across both contractor and government operations. This position demands an experienced professional who will serve as the technical authority for electronic systems design, development, and integration, working with sophisticated test equipment including spectrum analyzers, vector network analyzers, and high-speed digital oscilloscopes. The selected candidate will lead the design and development of advanced electronic systems, including RF/microwave circuits, digital signal processing systems, and embedded systems, while ensuring compliance with MIL-STD-461 for EMI/EMC requirements and MIL-STD-883 for microelectronic devices. The role requires an individual who can provide expert-level guidance on PCB design using tools such as Altium Designer or Cadence Allegro, FPGA development using VHDL/Verilog with Xilinx or Intel FPGA tools, and system integration using various test automation platforms. This position combines hands-on technical work with leadership responsibilities, including mentoring junior engineers, reviewing technical documentation, conducting design reviews, and collaborating with cross-functional teams including mechanical engineers, software developers, and system architects, all while maintaining rigorous documentation standards and ensuring compliance with government specifications in a classified environment.

The candidate performs the following specific assignments:

Minimum 10 years of experience in the development and implementation of electronics systems

Leads complex electronic systems design and development

Provides technical oversight for electronic systems integration

Designs advanced electronic circuits and systems

Conducts technical reviews and approves engineering changes

Mentors junior engineers and techniciansExperience Required:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university with a concentration in Electrical, or Electronics Engineering

At least Ten (10) years of post-college full-time experience with at least 8 years supporting the Department of Defense

Experience in the operation, maintenance, design, or testing of Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance (C4ISR) systems and equipment

Motivated to independently achieve results

Active clearance (SECRET/Top Secret preferred)Experience Desired:

A Master’s degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university preferred

Certification from Navy Electronics Technician "A" and "C" schools desired

Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred

PMP Certification or equivalent preferred
