Job Purpose:
As the Manager of Technical Accounting, you will play a key role in managing all external financial reporting, ensuring compliance with SEC reporting rules, and leading the technical accounting function. You will support various corporate areas and work on strategic initiatives, including financial planning, investor relations, and acquisitions. This role offers high visibility and the chance to contribute to a leader in the industry.
Primary Responsibilities:
Oversee the preparation and review of external financial reporting (SEC, US GAAP, IFRS), including the preparation of Form 10-Q, 10-K, and other SEC filings, financial statements, footnote disclosures, and MD&A
Ensure compliance with SEC reporting rules through accurate and timely filing of required documents
Develop and maintain internal controls related to global accounting policies and new accounting/reporting guidance
Support the calculation of stock-based compensation and earnings per share
Assist in preparing senior management and audit committee communications
Prepare Press Release financials, including GAAP to Non-GAAP reconciliations
Continuously improve and streamline reporting processes and controls
Assist in corporate areas like financial planning and analysis, investor relations, treasury, acquisition due diligence, and purchase accounting
Lead and mentor a team, supporting their professional development
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
CPA preferred
6+ years of relevant experience in SEC reporting and technical accounting
Strong knowledge of SEC reporting rules and US GAAP
Excellent communication and leadership skills
