Your new role

As Senior Project Manager you will manage projects from inception through execution and finally implementation, following the existing governance model of Sourcing Operations (SoOp), as well as making use of tools from your own diverse project toolbox. You will be part of the Project Execution Team (in SoOp Business Support) and mainly drive with us the vast portfolio of strategic projects within SoOp, or take care of ad-hoc burning plat-forms that needs attention. You will engage with a variety of job roles and functions, and could find yourself both in a boardroom one day, or in our quality control lab implementing process improvements.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

Developing, scoping and executing on strategic transformation projects

Establishing and running Steering Committees

Taking ownership of change management activities required for successful project execution

Developing crisp and informative reporting material (VP and CVP-suite level)

Coordinating activities across projects, both within SoOp and across Novo Nordisk

Steering multi-disciplinary project teams through all project phases, offering guid-ance and motivation

Constant risk management and mitigation

However the nature of our work often calls for visiting alternative locations, our primary location is at the headquarters in Bagsværd (moving to Høje-Taastrup next year).

In CMC & Product Supply, we cover the full value chain from drug and device development to marketed Novo Nordisk products. We are more than 30,000 colleagues across the globe with the shared responsibility of scaling molecules, processes, devices, and products, ded-icated to supplying life-saving medicines to the patients who need them most.

Within CMC & Product Supply sits Novo Nordisk Sourcing Operations (SoOp), with primary focus to make raw- and packaging- materials available to the Novo Nordisk production sites globally. We are a team of project managers working with strategic projects across Novo Nordisk Sourcing Operations (SoOp), seeking a new, inspiring, passionate and am-bitious colleague to join forces with us. It’s a complex area with high focus on quality, and many departmental overlaps and constraints to consider.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, we imagine you have:

Academic degree in related field, with a minimum of 5 years of proven project management expertise in large matrix organization

Exposure to CVP level, preferably working within GMP and the pharmaceutical in-dustry

Practical experience in a variety of project tools and methodologies, and ability to use change management as a natural part of your project management toolbox

Have proven track record of successfully leading, coaching and empowering team members

Fluency in both written and spoken English
