Executive Director

JOB DETAILS: Reports to: Board of DirectorsDuty Station: KampalaDuration: 5-year contract (renewable subject to availability of funds and satisfactory performance) Purpose of the Job: The Executive Director is the Chief Executive of AIC, providing strategic leadership and ensuring operational effectiveness to fulfill the organization’s mission.

They will represent AIC to stakeholders, provide direction to staff, and manage resources efficiently.

Person Specifications: Academic Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Health Sciences, Public Health, or related field.

A PhD is an added advantage.

Experience: At least 10 years of progressive leadership experience in HIV/AIDS or public health programs, 5 of which must be at a senior management level in a reputable organization.

Key Skills: Strategic leadership, financial oversight, stakeholder engagement, donor liaison, team building, innovation, and excellent communication.

Age Limit: Not more than 55 years
