The Facilities Discipline Engineer is responsible for assisting with providing safe, efficient, and reliable service delivery to our customers. The Facilities Discipline Engineer consults with discipline management as needed to support the area of expertise. This person identifies continuous improvement opportunities for service delivery and formally communicates findings. The Facilities Discipline Engineer supports the Product Line with risk management and applies lessons learned to improve job design and execution as related to the area of expertise. This person provides real-time support to projects and operations as required.
+ Provides direction in engineering design and technical scope.
+ Defines and manages discipline engineering requirements, input, workflow, work practices and deliverables such as to manage expectation and achieve optimal results.
+ Identifies and manages interfaces with other disciplines and inputs into higher level plans and reports.
+ Identifies, quantifies, tracks, reports, and ensures mitigation of technical risk.
+ Provides discipline expertise and input on scoping, engineering feasibility studies, concepts and schemes.
+ Performs engineering design, calculations and prepares technical documents and specifications.
+ Prepares engineering documents/drawings/specifications/datasheets and compiles technical dossiers.
+ Assists in the preparation of technical proposals, work plans, cost and schedule estimates.
+ Involved in one particular technical specialization with core expertise in Engineering. Examples of disciplines (but not limited to): Process, Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Instrument & Control, Piping, Decommissioning, Quality Assurance, Rotating Equipment, Technical Safety, Structural, Construction, Subsea, Pipeline, SURF, Wells etc.
