Asbury Gardens Pavilion Nursing & Rehabilitation Unit is looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate full-time Activity Aide.

Hours: Tuesdays and Fridays 7:00 am - 7:00 pm & Thursdays 8am-12pm / 1pm-5pm (required to work every other weekend)

Salary: $17.50/Hour

Purpose: To assist the Activities Director in planning and implementing of recreational, social, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual programs of activities for our residents.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assists Director of Activities in planning and implementing a well-rounded activity program.

Leads programs and encourages resident participation.

Assists with special events, theme days and facility celebrations.

Familiarity with crafts, games and the interests of the resident population.

Ability to be creative, to develop new program ideas, and to work with a minimum of supervision.

Works in a cooperative manner with other departments and volunteers.

Shares responsibility of keeping equipment and storage areas in proper condition.

Communicate in a positive and cooperative manner with all staff, management, residents, and family members and outside entities consistent with the policies.

Perform other duties as assigned by the Activity Director or Administrator

Education:

Must possess, as a minimum, a high school diploma or its equivalent.

Experience:

Customer Service. On-the-job training provided
