You will report to the Regional Purchasing Manager for the Mediterranean Europe Region, taking ownership of strategic procurement initiatives that impact our supply chain efficiency and business success.

You will support the development of ROCKWOOL procurement strategies, policies and tactics required to achieve business objectives. Our primary objective is meeting demand requirements and reducing the cost of supply, while complying with business and quality specifications, and revenue goals.

This is the role

Keeping factories running with no disruptions caused by procurement

Support the implementation of category strategies, and developing the supplier base

Contracting and negotiating with local suppliers,

Supporting established quality processes and resolving quality issues

Ensuring effient operational purchasing, Implementing purchasing strategies, local supplier development, negotiations with suppliers,

Quality, costs, security and predictability of supply.

What you bring:

University degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.

Proven experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, minimum 5 years, ideally within an industrial or manufacturing environment.

Demonstrated experience in supplier management, contract negotiation, and implementation of purchasing strategies.

Strong analytical and negotiation skills. Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Excellent communication skills. Strong sense of initiative, solution-orientation, and ability to work autonomously.

Commitment to continuous improvement and high-quality standards.

Proficient in English and Romanian
