Job Description

Support the faculty involved in the development and instruction of laboratory courses for the Animal Sciences program, including intermediate and advanced courses. Support laboratory planning, set-up, delivery, and clean-up. Properly uses laboratory equipment and follows safe and appropriate laboratory procedures. Under the supervision of course instructors, supports delivery of course specific content, which may include practical demonstrations and responding to students technical questions. Complete recommended/required training as needed. Experience and ability to apply practical knowledge in animal sciences; ability to work effectively with students, staff and faculty; a cooperative attitude and willingness to interact with others is required; ability to lift 50 lb. Background in animal anatomy. The individual filling this position needs to have either completed this course or be versed in the course materials.
