Weekly Gross: $2,341 Hourly: $65.03
Taxable: $24/hr Non-Taxable Stipends: $1,477/wk Requirements
2+ years of acute care MS/Tele experience
BLS (Required), IV certification
EPIC charting experience required
Skills: IV Start, Monitoring, Labs, Med Admin, Pt Education
Must have compact or OH RN license in hand at submission
RTO required at submission
Locals accepted at same rate Unit Details - 9 East Rhodes Hall
General Med/Surg + Hepatology focus (pre/post-op, gastro, ID)
32 Beds Daily Census: 25-32
Patient Ratio (All Shifts): 1:4-5
Float required within OSU system to similar/lower acuity units
Orientation: 36 hrs (non-billable)
Self-scheduling Every other weekend
Support: IV team, RT, PT, Pharmacy, RRT, Transport, Unit Secretary Compliance Notice
Must complete OH fingerprinting ASAP after contract signing
Former OSU employees must have been gone for 6+ months
Current OSU employees are ineligible for travel roles
ACEN or CCNE accredited education required
Strict compliance deadline: Tuesday prior to start
Facility: Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center - Level I Trauma, Major Teaching Hospital, Magnet Recognized Unit Specialty: Hepatology, Infectious Disease, Gastroenterology - mixed medical/surgical patients Teaching/Academic Environment: Great exposure to interdisciplinary collaboration, medical residents, and evidence-based practice. Epic EMR: Must have prior experience - no training provided on-site. Block scheduling: Not available Call Requirements: None Holiday Pay: 1.3x standard rate if working recognized holidays Charge Pay: Additional $5/hr when applicable Float Policy: Float required to units of equal or lower acuity within the OSU system - flexibility expected.
