Role Summary
This position offers an integrated experience across Cardiac Cath, Vascular, and Interventional Radiology labs. Ideal for a skilled technologist familiar with high-acuity procedures, sterile technique, and diagnostic/imaging protocols. Requirements & Preferred Skills
Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab experience - Required
First-time travelers welcome
Certifications:
BLS - Required
ACLS - Required
ARRT (R) - Preferred
CCI RCIS - Preferred
Key Procedural Skills:
Cardiac Cath & Interventional Techniques (e.g., PCI, PTCA, pacemaker insertion, Impella)
Vascular procedures (e.g., dialysis interventions, angioplasty, TIPS)
Interventional Radiology procedures (e.g., IVC filters, embolization, RFA)
Electrophysiology & rhythm interpretation
Venous access and maintenance
Monitoring, sterile field maintenance, EKG lead placement
Equipment Knowledge: IPneumbra, Shockwave, EKOS, Da Vinci systems - Preferred
Floating: Required within scope across assigned specialties Call Requirement: 9-10 call shifts in a 6-week cycle, weekends included Holiday Coverage:
1 major holiday = expected to work
2 major holidays = expected to work both
3 major holidays = expected to work any 2 Major Holidays: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Day, New Year's Eve/Day Submission Checklist
