Inside Sales and Support Representative - Manufacturing

On behalf of our manufacturing client, we are actively looking for an Inside Sales and Support Representative for their location in Barrie, ON. This will be an ON-SITE position.

Summary:

Under the guidance of the Director of Sales & Marketing, the position performs a variety of sales support functions for technical sales representatives. These duties include but are not limited to creating quotations, quotation follow-up, and sales administration as required for backup.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for working with technical sales to create quotations for customers on maintenance services, for presentation.

Collaborate with the technical sales team on following up on quotations, clarifying and answering any questions the client has, to close the sale.

Responsible for understanding specifications and the costing process, to better explain quotations and answer technical sales questions.

Prospect and generating leads for technical sales representatives using historical customers, past purchases and working proactively in business development.

Administer customer information, interactions, and notes into the CRM system, to track customer interaction.

Coordinate service reconciliation upon project completion, including expenses and payroll and documentation, to support accounting for invoicing.

Assist sales administrator(s) for entering sales orders or other administration, in their absence.

Maintains complete knowledge of and complies with company and department policies, procedures, and standards.

Maintains a positive working relationship with team members and management in a team environment. QUALIFICATIONS:

Completion of a College Diploma in or a technical field of study is an asset.

3+ years’ experience in a sales role.

Intermediate systems knowledge; Microsoft Office, CRM, and ERP systems.

Strong hands-on technical ability.

Strong hand in sales techniques.
