Machine Operators

LaborMax Staffing Toledo has partnered with a well-known client in Maumee, and we are seeking skilled Machine Operators. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating large metal-cutting machines to produce high-quality products. This is a full-time temp-to-hire position, that will require you to train on 1st shift for about 30 days.

Hours: 2nd Shift (3PM-11PM)

3rd Shift (11PM-7AM) *must be able to train on 1st shift*

Pay Rate: $19/hr.

Responsibilities:

- Operate large metal-cutting machines: Laser Cutting, Water Jet, Precision Bar Saw, Laser Punch combo, Shear Cutting.

- Work with the following material: Nickel Alloy

Stainless Steel

Duplex Stainless

Titanium & Cobalt

- Manage personal workflow to ensure on-time delivery of customer orders

- Read and follow work instructions on work orders

- Drive a forklift and operate an overhead crane-

Requirements:

- This position does require a Background Check - Ability to bend, climb, and lift up to 70 pounds repeatedly - Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16" - Ability to make simple decimal-fraction conversions - Basic computer skills - Ability to use/read micrometers and calipers - Math skills assessment required converting decimals to fractions- reading a decimal ruler- add, subtract and multiply using decimals- and basic tape measure testing.
