Commodities Trading - Python / Data Analyst

As a Python / Data Analyst you will be tasked with developing and managing efficient systems for data processing and analysis in the power market. Your role involves working closely with traders to develop scalable data solutions which can run various data tasks. As an analyst your goal will be to deliver scalable data solutions that meet business requirements. You will work directly with traders to find data arbitrage opportunities and build the framework to scale power strategies.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain software applications using Python and SQL.

Design and implement efficient solutions to process large amount of data and data calculations.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.

Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code for the front office to run continuous analytics and ad-hoc analytics.

Analyze complex datasets and generate actionable insights.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Proven experience as a Python Developer.

Strong understanding of SQL and relational databases.

Experience with data modeling.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Good communication and teamwork abilities.
