Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Azure Systems Engineer to join our team in Cape Coral, Florida. This is a long-term contract to permanent hire position where you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise-level systems and cloud environments. Your expertise will be critical in ensuring reliable and secure IT operations across various platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable solutions utilizing Microsoft Azure and Windows Server technologies.

• Manage and optimize Active Directory, including Group Policy configurations and Azure Active Directory integrations.

• Administer and maintain Office 365 environments, including Exchange and Intune.

• Oversee virtualization platforms such as VMware to ensure system reliability and performance.

• Implement data backup and recovery strategies using Veeam technologies.

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across Citrix and Microsoft server environments.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support IT infrastructure and operational needs.

• Monitor system performance and security, applying updates and patches as required.

• Develop documentation for system architecture, processes, and procedures.

• Conduct regular assessments to identify areas for improvement in IT systems and workflows.• Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems architecture and engineering.

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Windows Server and Azure Active Directory.

• Hands-on experience with Citrix technologies and Microsoft Exchange.

• Advanced knowledge of Office 365, including Intune management.

• Familiarity with virtualization platforms such as VMware.

• Proven ability to design and implement backup and recovery solutions with Veeam.

• Solid understanding of Group Policy management and system security practices.

• Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
