Software Engineer (Automation) Trainee

Description:

Software Engineer is responsible for developing, testing, and deploying software for automation.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Work closely with business departments to run daily scripts for web scraping

Design and develop program to automate data research

Maintain standards compliance

Integrate software with existing systems

Document source code and ensure that technical documentation i.e. configuration guides, install guides meet requirements

Coding, unit testing and debugging applications in various software languages

Skills:

C++

Python

Power BI

Excel

PHP

Minimum Qualifications:

Candidates must must be taking at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.

Deep understanding in development using ReactJS

Knowledge of modern HTML/CSS, HTML5/CSS3 skills.

Basic experience integrating with REST APIs, and NodeJS is a plus.

Basic Experience in Jira for managing the work

Must be patient and keen to details

Good technical understanding and can pick up new tools/software quickly

Effective verbal and written communication skills

Excellent problem-solving skills
