Location: Mildura

Job Type: Permanent Full-Time

Reports to: Signal Supervisor

Salary: $55.2095 per hour + superannuation

Working rights: You must have Australian entitlement to work. A check will be conducted as part of the pre-employment screening.

About the role

As a Trainee Signal Maintenance Technician, you will help keep Victoria’s transport network safe and reliable. You will work under supervision to perform maintenance and installation tasks with precision and care.

Key responsibilities:

Assist with maintaining and installing signalling equipment

Complete scheduled maintenance tasks from the technical plan

Enter task-completion reports into our maintenance system

Attend and rectify equipment faults at multiple locations

Use service schedules to guide maintenance activities

A little about you

While we provide extensive training, you’ll need:

Certificate III in Electrotechnology or a Victorian A Grade Licence

A current and full driver's licence

Problem-solving motivation

Remuneration for this position will be in line with the V/Line Rail Asset Management Enterprise Agreement 2023.
