Urgent Hiring! for Phlebotomist
Location: Sterling VA
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Every other Saturday may be required (7:00 AM – 11:00 AM)
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and dedicatedPhlebotomistto join our team. This role involves supporting clinical operations through specimen collection, patient interaction, and adherence to laboratory protocols. The ideal candidate will bring professionalism, precision, and a patient-first mindset to every interaction.
Role Responsibilities
Perform venipuncture and capillary blood draws with accuracy and care
Label, centrifuge, split, and store specimens per test requirements
Maintain and update patient records accurately
Ensure specimen integrity during preparation and transport
Comply with OSHA, DEP, and internal safety protocols
Provide clear, courteous explanations of procedures to patients
Handle pediatric and geriatric patients with professionalism
Respond to inquiries and relay lab results as needed
Candidate Requirements
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum2 years of phlebotomy experiencein a fast-paced clinical setting
Proficiency with straight and butterfly needle techniques
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Expertise in specimen handling and processing
Familiarity with laboratory requisition systems
Ability to manage hard-to-draw patients (“hard sticks”)

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.50/hr.
