Schools - Sign Language Interpreter

Job Description

Degree in American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreting, certified ASL Interpreter credentials, and 1+ year of experience as an ASL Interpreter in educational settings. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Sign Language Interpreter is needed to support a K-12 student on a one-on-one basis during the 2025-2026 school year. This contract position is based in Hilliard, OH, and requires in-person availability.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide clear and accurate sign language interpretation to facilitate communication between the student and educators.

Support the students participation in classroom activities and school events.

Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to ensure effective communication and support.

Maintain confidentiality and adhere to school policies and professional standards.

Qualifications:

Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and strong interpretation skills.

Experience working with K-12 students, preferably in an educational setting.

Ability to work full-time and maintain consistent in-person presence.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Location:

Position located in Hilliard, OH.

On-site work required.
