Duties include but are not limited to:

With the other members of the finance team, closing books each month and yearly in an accurate and timely fashion.

Producing financial statements and other operating reports no later than five (5) working days after the close of months end. Reporting overdue customer receivables and current company payables.

Developing an in-depth knowledge of accepted accounting and bookkeeping practices using QuickBooks.

Posting all accounts in an accurate and timely fashion. Recording, tracking, and reporting on customer accounts and specific jobs in QuickBooks.

Becoming thoroughly familiar with the computer hardware and software in operation within the company and be skilled in its use and application.

Collecting all data related to collections on all accounts Receivable and record them on the computer accurately.

Contacting delinquent accounts that are beyond net 30 days for reconciliation.

Actively pursuing the collection bad checks including and banking and/or legal expenses incurred.

Ensuring that all collection efforts are fully documented and are diligent in collecting all delinquent accounts.

Establishing a comprehensive and functional vendor list with the use of QuickBooks.

Maintaining payroll totals in an up-to-date and accurate manner at all times.

Annually shopping to find the best rates on liability and vehicle insurance.

Weekly preparation of sales tax for worker compensation, business tax, and company's insurance plans.

Making certain the amounts being charged to Redi Services, LLC. are indicative of current market prices, with a specific overview of current fuel costs and pricing and based on a contractual basis.

Participate with management in tackling operational and financial challenges.

Educational Requirements:

Required: An associate's degree in accounting or equivalent experience

Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Accounting

Professional Certifications: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred

Experience:

A minimum of five (5) years of experience in accounting, financial, and business principles in a construction service company (preferably in the construction industry); Experience in fiscal budgeting, job costing, required reporting, and muti-company transactions in nationwide operations.

Ability to commute/relocate:

Salt Lake City, UT: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

License/Certification:

CPA (Preferred)
