Rebel Convenience Stores is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our corporate team in Upland, CA. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a growing retail organization with a strong presence across multiple states.

What You’ll Do: As our Senior Accountant, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the integrity of our financial operations. You will be responsible for:

Reconciling major general ledger accounts including cash, credit card receivables, clearing accounts, and sales tax payable.

Maintaining and reconciling fixed asset ledgers.

Handling monthly imports of franchise trial balances and related reporting requirements.

Performing reconciliations of fuel and convenience store inventories and preparing margin summaries.

Preparing daily journal entries and supporting monthly closing processes.

Conducting analysis of P&L accounts to identify and explain variances.

Assisting with sales tax filings and preparing schedules for audits.

Contributing to process improvements through automation and system integration.

Supporting and mentoring new accounting team members.

What You Bring to the Role:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.

A minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience.

Experience with Tier 2 or Tier 3 ERP systems (PDI experience a plus).

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; knowledge of SQL or Python is a bonus.

Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.

Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Flexibility to work outside standard business hours when needed.
