We are looking for a highly driven Business Analyst with strong Capital Markets expertise to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll play a pivotal part in analyzing, documenting, and validating business and functional requirements, while supporting system integration and user acceptance testing phases. The successful candidate will demonstrate a proven track record in financial services or capital markets, showcase advanced analytical thinking, and excel in cross-functional collaboration with business and technology stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

Actively engage with business stakeholders to capture, document, and validate requirements comprehensively.

Create alignment among stakeholders by illustrating proposed solutions through wireframes, workflows, and prototypes.

Develop and maintain meticulous business cases, requirement documents, user stories, and operational workflows.

Produce well-structured process and workflow diagrams utilizing industry-standard tools.

Coordinate and lead the design and execution of test strategies, ensuring comprehensive requirement coverage during SIT and UAT phases.

Analyze feasibility and alignment of business requirements with new or existing technical solutions.

Facilitate strong collaboration with development and QA teams for optimal delivery outcomes.

Develop and deliver relevant training materials and conduct sessions for stakeholder learning.

Ensure robust traceability between gathered requirements and implemented features throughout the development life cycle.

Support project change management processes, continuous improvement initiatives, and issue escalation tasks proficiently.

Deliver professional-quality documentation and insightful presentations to both stakeholders and leadership roles.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or a related discipline.

Minimum of 4+ years of professional experience in a Business Analyst role, ideally within Capital Markets or related industries.

Expertise in Capital markets products, understanding trade lifecycles, and applying risk management principles.

Proficient in creating functional specifications, test plans, and extensive business cases.

Hands-on exposure to SDLC methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid frameworks.

Demonstrated ability in utilizing SQL for basic SELECT and data extraction tasks.

Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio for data presentation and documentation purposes.

Familiarity with relational database design and techniques.

Exceptional communication aptitude, particularly in translating intricate business processes into actionable technical requirements.

Capability to independently manage diverse workflows and priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in executing cloud transformation and large-scale technological advancements.

Competence in tools like JIRA, Confluence, or Azure DevOps for task management and collaboration.

Background in activities like data governance, establishing data lineage, or working on ETL/data warehousing initiatives in large-scale capital market solutions.
