Position Details:

GTN Technical Staffing is seeking a highly skilled Python Data Analyst / Visualization Analyst - Cybersecurity / API Security for a hybrid, contract role based in Addison, TX! The ideal candidate will support strategic, data-driven decision-making by delivering timely extraction, transformation, analysis, and visualization of business-critical data. The analyst will collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders across departments to ensure high data quality, accurate reporting, and actionable insights.

• Data Operations: Extract, cleanse, transform, and visualize data from multiple sources

• Reporting & Analysis: Support recurring reporting, dashboard development, and ad hoc requests

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with technical and business teams to align data outputs with key business goals

• Workflow Documentation: Maintain process documentation and recommend improvements to data analysis workflows

• Insight Delivery: Translate raw data into meaningful, decision-ready business insights

Technical Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of experience working as a Data Analyst with the following technologies -

• Programming & Scripting

o Strong command of SQL for data querying and transformation

o Proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy) and/or R for analysis and automation

• Background in API configuration and API security

• ETL & Data Pipeline Tools

o Familiarity with ETL configuration and orchestration using Apache NiFi

o Hands-on experience designing scalable ETL workflows, preferably with Apache NiFi

• Data Visualization & BI Tools

o Advanced skills in Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent BI platforms

o Ability to build interactive dashboards and deliver visual storytelling

• Data Warehousing

o Experience working with modern cloud-based data platforms such as:

o Snowflake

o ClickHouse

o Amazon Redshift

• Analytics & Statistics

o Exposure to statistical modeling, forecasting, data validation, and QA processes

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Skilled at presenting findings to leadership and non-technical stakeholders

Highly Desired, but not required:

• Certifications not required but highly preferred in data analytics or BI platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, AWS Data Analytics, or Google Data Engineer).

• Vibe Coding / AIOps:

o Familiarity with AI-assisted analytics and natural language processing in data workflows
