Position Overview:
Sinai Chicago is seeking a passionate and dedicated full-time Hematology/Oncology physician to join our growing Division of Hematology/Oncology, with five physicians and three APPs. This physician will play a vital role in advancing clinical care, academic practice, and clinical cancer research across two key institutionsMount Sinai Hospital (MSH) and Holy Cross Hospital (HCH). Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality, patient-centered community-based Hematology and Medical Oncology care at both MSH and HCH.
Academic affiliation and faculty appointment at RFUMS ( Chicago Medical School/Rosalind Franklin University )
ACGME accredited Hematology-Oncology fellowship
Access to NCI trials through ECOG/CTSU
Contribute to and lead academic clinical practice, with opportunities to mentor hematology oncology trainees and collaborate on clinical research initiatives.
Lead Sinai Chicagos Molecular Oncology Tumor Board, bringing expertise and innovation in precision medicine and personalized cancer care.
Develop and co-lead a Supportive/Palliative Care Clinic in collaboration with an Advanced Practice Provider (APP), addressing the comprehensive needs of oncology patients.
Oversee and lead the Lung Cancer Screening Program within the Division of Oncology, promoting early detection and improved outcomes.
Qualifications:
Board certified or board eligible in Hematology and Medical Oncology
Demonstrated experience or strong interest in academic medicine and clinical research
Preferably experienced in molecular hematology-oncology and/or palliative/supportive care models
Committed to excellence in patient care, teaching, and interdisciplinary collaboration
Eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois
