Devops Engineer

Contract Main tasks: Creating and operating web-based tools and APIs using REST / SOAP / JAVA & SQL: Web-based applications and tools for error reduction and user experience optimization as well as scripts for (process) automation Software for integrating internal back-end systems FrontEnds with visualizations Creating new development tools and environments as well as virtual infrastructure for efficient CI/CD collaboration with stakeholders to ensure flawless processes and workflows Mutual support and representation within the local IT team: Analyzing and solving technical problems Develop and coordinate solutions/updates and bug fixes with the parent company's agile ARTs Collaboration with the local business analyst to Optimization of existing local insurance processes with digital services Advice and support to specialist departments on IT topics Process Design und Requirement Engineering What you bring: Completed studies in computer science, business informatics or a scientific-mathematical orientation, or a comparable education, with over 5 years of relevant experience in a role within software development, including proven success Proven practical experience and confident handling of: REST und SOAP API’s (XML) SQL / Databases Java Azure Proactive and motivated IT all-rounder with a strong service orientation and an independent, self-responsible way of working, who has a mindset characterized by a hands-on mentality, can-do attitude, positivity, mindfulness, and integrity Experience in project management methods such as Agile, Waterfall, LEAN and others Ideally, experience in dealing with insurance-specific applications and data flows such as policy systems, claims management, partner databases and data warehouses in the insurance environment Helpful and team-oriented personality with strong social skills Willingness to learn and change, flexibility, resilience and structured working methods Languages: German: Business fluent English: Fluent Nice-to-have: French language skills Contact: As a friendly and dynamic IT recruitment consultancy, IT Di-Visions AG has successfully established itself with renowned clients throughout Switzerland.
