Maxars Enterprise Sales organization is seeking a motivated and driven Business Development Representative, New Products to join our expanding team. You will be the front line for generating and qualifying net-new opportunities for our latest solutions, including our Raptor vision based software suite. If you excel at outbound prospecting, building relationships, and fueling a high-velocity sales engine, we want you on our team.
What Youll Be Doing
Execute targeted outbound campaigns (email, phone, social) to engage prospects in both Government (DoD, Civil) and Commercial segments
Qualify inbound leads and conduct discovery calls to assess fit, pain points, and buying timeline
Build and maintain a robust pipeline of MQLs and SQLs, ensuring consistent handoff to Account Executives
Research target accounts and key stakeholders to develop personalized outreach strategies
Leverage CRM (Salesforce) to log activities, track lead status, and manage follow-up cadences
Collaborate with Marketing on messaging, content, and campaign feedback to optimize lead generation
Participate in weekly pipeline reviews and contribute to forecast accuracy
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of our new product features, differentiators, and competitive positioning
Support the Sales team at trade shows, webinars, and executive briefings as needed
Requirements
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
12 years of success in an outbound BDR/SDR role, preferably selling technology or analytics solutions
Proven ability to hit or exceed activity and meeting-setting quotas
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to craft concise, compelling outreach
Strong research and organizational skills; comfortable using SalesNav, ZoomInfo, or similar tools
Familiarity with Salesforce or comparable CRM platforms
Self-starter mentality with high energy, resilience, and a growth mindset
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
Demonstrated track record working with cross-functional teams, including Marketing and Sales Engineers
Exposure to MEDDPICC or similar sales methodologies

The successful candidates starting pay will fall within the salary range provided below and is determined based on job-related factors, including, but not limited to, the experience, qualifications, knowledge, skills, geographic work location, and market conditions. Candidates with the minimum necessary experience, qualifications, knowledge, and skillsets for the position should not expect to receive the upper end of the pay range. ? The base pay for this position within Colorado is: $94,000.00 - $156,000.00 annually.? The base pay for this position within the Washington, DC metropolitan area is: $104,000.00 - $173,000.00 annually.
For all other states, we use geographic cost of labor as an input to develop market-driven ranges for our roles, and as such, each location where we hire may have a different range.
