Pay

:

HK$63,338 to HK$87,341 (HMPS Point 1 to 8) per month including Monthly Allowance

Up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered to contract staff upon completion of the contract subject to satisfactory performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Post A – Internet and External Network Infrastructure

Plan, design and lead revamping projects related to HA Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) / external network infrastructure.

Conduct regular review on external network infrastructure and management frameworks based on industrial standard and audit requirements.

Lead and implement process reengineering and automation initiatives for network firewall management and internet access solutions for central sites / remote sites / local internet breakouts.

Plan and coordinate network firewall installation for new hospital buildings and integration with external vendor services to ensure smooth systems operation.

Post B – Network and Security Infrastructure Services

Lead the production support team in promptly resolving incidents to maintain stability of network and security infrastructure services in HA DMZ.

Plan and lead the migration of existing Router / Firewall / Web Application Firewall / Load Balancer / Proxy / Domain Name System with the adoption of latest technologies.

Implement secured proxy gateway to enable single-sign-on (SSO) authentication and support IoT device to improve user experience in internet access

For Both Posts

Act as a technical lead in planning, coordinating, implementing, supporting and monitoring IT infrastructure projects and network/security solutions.

Manage the IT infrastructure projects throughout the project life cycle; conduct risk management and ensure timely completion of deliverables with regular reporting to management.

Perform proof of concept based on networking technology and industrial standard.

Evaluate, recommend and assist tendering of technical solutions and procurement process for required hardware, systems products, software or services.

Ensure quality assurance of IT solutions, define support needs for users and provide expert level support.

Review the workflow and streamline the network operation by automation to increase efficiency gains.

Ensure smooth network operation by monitoring systems health, performance and supporting facilities around the clock.

Ensure agile adaption of new network infrastructure architecture.

Provide capacity planning and resource sizing on system infrastructure.

Handle the change requests, review the standards and guidelines of IT solutions.

Provide high level system analysis, problem diagnosis and solving in network infrastructure.

Provide after office hours system support.

Entry Requirements:

Degree in Computer Science or relevant disciplines; or equivalent.

6 years’ post qualification Information Technology (IT) related experience.

Preferable Attributes / Exposure:

Post A – Internet and External Network Infrastructure

Solid experience in planning, design, implementation and managing enterprise network security infrastructure.

Strong technical experience in any of the following areas:

(a) Internet access and cybersecurity technologies

(b) Networking technologies, e.g. BGP, MULTICAST, OSPF, QoS, TCP/IP, VLAN, VRF

(c) Network firewall

(d) Network monitoring and performance management

Post B – Network and Security Infrastructure Services

Solid experience in planning, design, implementation and managing enterprise network and security infrastructure services.

Strong technical experience in any of the following areas:

(a) Secured Proxy Gateway

(b) Domain Name System (DNS)

(c) Global / Local Load Balancing (GLB / LLB)

(d) Web Application Firewall (WAF)

For Both Posts

Certificate holder of any of the following is an advantage:

(a) Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE)

(b) Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)

(c) Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)

2. Good knowledge of up-to-date IT Innovation technologies.

3. Good communication and interpersonal skills.

4. Strong analytical and problem solving skills, and able to work under pressure.

May be required to work over-night shifts and/or provide 24-hour on call support, and when necessary, provide on-site support services at different hospitals.

For serving HA staff, relevant experience gained in HA may be considered as equivalent to post-qualification experience.
