Python Backend Principal Consultant

Infosys is seeking a Python Backend Principal Consultant. This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design; Play an important role in ensuring the latest features and improvements are deployed on time to the millions of broadband devices through periodic releases ; Be part of a learning culture, where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged, excellence is rewarded, and diversity is respected and valued.

Required Qualifications:

Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Dallas, TX or willing to relocate. This position may require travel in the US.

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education

Min 11 years of overall IT experience

Min 5+ years of experience in Python and Azure based RestAPI based micro service development.

Conducting validation tests, troubleshooting system issues, and ensuring the proper functioning of RFID hardware and software.

Analyzing RFID-related data to identify trends, optimize processes, and improve overall system performance.

Strong understanding of RFID technology, including hardware components, software, and networking principles is a plus

Experience in developing algorithms for signal processing or similar applications.

Experience in Kafka and large data ingestion.

Familiarity with Databricks or similar cloud-based data engineering platforms

Understanding of data engineering concepts such as ETL processes, data warehousing, and big data technologies.

Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).

Familiarity with Docker for containerization.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with RFID technology or related signal processing techniques is a plus.

Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is advantageous.

Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.

Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

Fluent in English, good communication skills and ability to work in a team.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
