Your Day at Lowe's
As a Customer Service Associate, you will greet customers and assist them in locating the right merchandise for their home improvement projects. Your day will include listening to customer inquiries, helping them select products, occasionally loading merchandise, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
You will primarily engage with customers, but daily tasks may vary by department.
Customer Service Associates may work in several departments, including Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, Live Nursery, Plumbing, Electrical, and more, depending on the store's hiring needs.
Key Responsibilities
Welcome customers warmly while providing friendly and professional service.
Assist customers in finding and handling merchandise.
Restock shelves by refilling empty areas with merchandise.
Process customer orders accurately to ensure timely deliveries.
Cross-train in various store areas to enhance customer service.
Prepare department merchandise based on customer needs (e.g., tint paint, cut woods).
Guide customers through their shopping experience and the checkout process.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
6 months of experience using a computer for information management.
6 months of experience with retail technology, such as smartphones and tablets.
Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
Able to perform tasks that may require standing or sitting for extended periods.
Capable of lifting up to 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with accommodation.
Preferred Qualifications
6 months of retail or customer service experience.
Bi-lingual skills are a plus.
Certification in a trade related to the department.

Pay Range: $21.10 - $21.60 per hour, with starting rates varying based on position, location, education, training, and experience.
