Student Research Assistant to contribute to clinical research studies, with a primary focus on maternal-infant research in the Division of General Internal Medicine within the Department of Internal Medicine; this position is under the direct supervision of the Primary Investigator/Faculty member and is responsible for assisting the faculty member in a variety of non-administrative tasks which may include collecting data, preparing resources, equipment, materials for the research, documenting results, etc. in support of the research activities.
Minimum Education/Experience Requirements:
Must be currently enrolled OSU student in a degree-granting program; experience operating personal computer and other office equipment required; knowledge of medical terminology desired; Requires successful completion of a background check. Selected candidate may be requested to complete a pre-employment physical including a drug screen.
Additional Information:
Clinical research conducted by our laboratory includes observational studies, which collect information to better understand how to prevent, detect, and address disease, and clinical trials, which test new interventions to promote health and/or address disease.
