Job Description
Summary:
The Patient Care Coordinator (PCC) is responsible for providing day-to-day administrative support to our hospitalists so the clinicians can maximize their time spent on patient care. This position is best suited for individuals with hospital medicine experience, a clinical background, critical thinking skills and a focus on patient satisfaction. This is not a clinical position. The PIC does not provide hands-on care to patients.
Education And Credentials
Responsibilities:
Graduate of a two (2) or four (4) year Radiology training program approved by the JRCERT. Current New York State RT licensure or eligible for licensure, modality specialty certification in Mammography, ARRT certification and BLS certification required.
Experience
Other information:
Three (3) or more years' experience working as a Diagnostic Technologist. Supervisory experience preferred. Must have good verbal and writing communication skills, computer experience and organizational skills. Experience and knowledge in all aspects of diagnostic imaging modalities and staffing. Good interpersonal skills for relating to people on various levels of the organization.
