Restoration & FISP Project Manager

COGS has partnered with a boutique, renowned Building Envelope Consulting firm in NYC as they seek to expand after the summer construction slow down.

They are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Building Restoration Project Manager to join their growing team in New York City, a well cultured and well oiled business specializing in the design, assessment, and rehabilitation of building envelopes & facades. Their projects span a diverse range of building types, including commercial, residential, and institutional structures.

Salary up to 120K DOE

This position plays a pivotal role in evaluating the condition of building facades and roofs, preparing comprehensive reports, and providing expert recommendations.

Responsibilities:

Conduct in-depth building envelope assessments and prepare detailed reports.

Oversee construction projects to ensure compliance with design specifications.

Perform specialized testing to identify building envelope deficiencies.

Develop cost-effective repair and remediation strategies.

Collaborate with clients and design teams to achieve project goals.

FISP/LL11 Reports in accordance with DOB requirements Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in building envelope consulting.

Strong understanding of building science principles and construction practices.

Proficiency in building envelope materials and systems.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
