Pay: $2,095.20 bi-weekly

Work Schedule: 8am-5pm Monday - Friday, remote position

Performs highly technical tasks pertaining to the development of geographic data, maps and applications. Involves the design and development of geographic data. Geographic analysis and application development and/or database administration, design, creation and management. Significant client interaction. Collaboration and effective communication with GIS management and other County staff.

Design, development, and maintenance of the Enterprise GIS system and data

Maintains and supports enterprise geodatabases

Maintains and supports geographic data and metadata

Technical GIS project development and management

Project management for both data analysis and application development projects

Creates automated internal processes for increased efficiencies

Creation and maintenance of procedural documentation and training

Creates internal standards and maintains procedures

Creates and maintains progress reports on a regular basis

Minimum Qualifications: Two years of professional experience in GIS, performing spatial analysis, data creation and development, database management and automating workflows using Python, or Bachelor Degree with major course work in geography or closely related field.

Preferred Qualifications: Three years of professional experience in GIS, performing spatial analysis, data creation and development, database management, automating workflows using Python. Bachelor’s Degree in Geography with emphasis in GIS. GISP, ESRI Associate or Professional level certifications.
