AWS Architect

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer with deep experience in Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS) to design and support secure, scalable cloud infrastructure tailored to legal operations. This role includes managing Windows Virtual Desktop (WVD), Microsoft Intune, Microsoft 365, and Entra ID for identity, device compliance, and secure collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

Design and maintain secure cloud environments in Azure and AWS for legal systems (case management, e-discovery, document management).

Deploy and support Windows Virtual Desktop (WVD) environments for legal staff.

Manage Microsoft Intune for MDM/MAM and enforce device compliance policies.

Administer Microsoft 365 services (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive) with legal compliance in mind.

Configure and manage Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) for secure authentication and identity governance.

Perform cloud cost analysis using Azure Cost Management, AWS Cost Explorer, and FinOps principles.

Ensure regulatory compliance (HIPAA, GDPR, ISO 27001, ABA standards).

Automate infrastructure provisioning with Terraform, ARM templates, CloudFormation, or Bicep.

Monitor performance, availability, and security using Azure Monitor, AWS CloudWatch, and third-party tools.

Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, ARM, CloudFormation, Bicep

Automation/Scripting: PowerShell, Python, Bash

CI/CD & DevOps: Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline

Monitoring & Logging: Azure Monitor, CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana

Networking: VNet, VPC, VPN, ExpressRoute, NSGs, Route 53

Security & Compliance: IAM, Key Vault, GuardDuty, Security Center, KMS

Cost Management: Azure Cost Mgmt., AWS Budgets, Trusted Advisor

Legal Tech Integration: Familiarity with platforms like Filevine, Litify (preferred)

Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert

AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate/Professional

Microsoft Certified: Azure Virtual Desktop Specialty

Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals

CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) - a plus

ITIL v4
