Pay: $35–$40/hr (DOE)
Schedule: Full-time 12-hour Shifts Day: 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM Night: 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM
About the Role
Central Texas Recruiting is actively seeking A&P Mechanics for long-term contract opportunities in Tucson, AZ. This is an excellent opportunity for licensed Aircraft Maintenance Technicians looking for steady hours, overtime potential, and hands-on work with CRJ and commercial aircraft in a fast-paced MRO environment.

Key Responsibilities
Perform maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting on CRJ and commercial aircraft
Maintain accurate records in compliance with FAA regulations
Adhere to all safety, compliance, and quality standards
Work independently or collaboratively in a team setting
Provide mentorship and support to fellow technicians when needed
Qualifications & Requirements
U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency
Required:
Active FAA A&P License or Airframe License
2+ years of hands-on aircraft maintenance experience
Familiarity with FAA documentation, tooling, and maintenance manuals
High school diploma or GED
Must meet FAA Part 65 English proficiency
Must provide a complete aviation tool set and practice tool control
Able to pass FAA drug/alcohol screening and background check
Basic computer skills
Preferred Experience:
CRJ airframe experience
Experience in MRO environments
Military maintenance background (Depot, Isochronal, Phase inspections)
Additional Details
Comfortable working 12-hour shifts, including weekends/holidays
Able to lift 50 lbs., climb, stand, and walk for long durations
Work performed in hangar and ramp environments under FAR Part 135
