The Personal and School District Income Tax Division is looking to fill one (1) Tax Examiner Manager position.

What You'll do as a Tax Examiner Manager:

Collaborates with other managers to solve issues and establish best practices

Brings innovative solutions to challenges that arise while administering the PIT/SD tax and assisting internal and external customers

Coaches and motivates employees to reach their highest potential

Lead teams to deliver clear communication, helpful support, and high-quality service to Ohio taxpayers.

Oversee and drive initiatives that streamline workflows and enhance the overall experience for both employees and Ohio taxpayers.

Develop and empower employees to collaborate, grow, and consistently deliver excellent results.

Undergraduate core program in accounting, business, public administration or related field which included 3 courses in accounting; 42 mos. exp. in accounting, auditing, &/or taxation; 12 mos. exp. in supervisory principles/techniques; 12 mos. exp. in customer service.

-Or graduate core program in accounting, business, public administration, or related field which included 3 courses in accounting; 30 mos. exp. in accounting, auditing, &/or taxation; 12 mos. exp. in supervisory principles & techniques; 12 mos. exp. in customer service.

-Or 18 mos. exp. as a Tax Examiner Specialist, 66813.

-Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above.

For positions performing audits per the approved Position Description on file, qualifications are established in accordance with O.R.C. 5703.17.

Must provide own transportation unless State vehicle is provided.
