Description:

Controls the EHS management program in the following areas: safety, machine release, working conditions and ergonomics, environmental protection, energy management, occupational health and hygiene.

Ensure Requirements: Contributes to prevention and protection of sites/employees

Monitoring of EHS activities in the IMS system (review of processes, management of KPI's, periodic review and update of procedures, implementation of corrective and preventive actions as necessary and provision of resources for the realization of the process), taking into account relevant requirements and their evolution

Risk assessment update, number of Top Safety observations, update of legal requirements, machine conformity, TF2, OPAD results, energy consumption and CO2 emissions

Responsible for making quick and accurate decisions with the right priority to meet the objectives.

Directly responsible for ensuring the control and analysis of its indicators (IPI's of the area, Score Card).

Responsible for the Budget and CAPEX management of the area, optimizing the use of resources.

Ensure compliance with norms and standards (IATF 16949, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, VDA, BIQS, corporate standards, audits and policies of the OPmobility.

Responsible for meeting internal and external customer expectations.

Responsible for complying and enforcing the processes and procedures related to the area.

Responsible for selecting and training personnel focused on a stable work environment for the achievement of its objectives.

upervision and control of products and hazardous substances entering the plant, through control of the MSDS.

In coordination with the Maintenance department, carries out inspections and tests of the plant's firefighting equipment. Administration and compliance with the plant's emergency programs.

Responsible for following up on preventive safety initiatives such as: OCR'S system, safety ambassador, ergonomics, etc.

Responsible for the ISO 14001 system including:

Conduct and document internal audits according to established schedule.

Confirm compliance and effectiveness of corrective actions taken on closure of nonconformities to either system.

Report audit results according to procedure.

Work with the management representative to complete the above activities.

Follow up on activities resulting from the risk analysis.

Follow up on environmental program activities.

Support the environmental and audit committee.

ISO 14001 Lead Auditor.

Work and participate with different areas of the company for the proper functioning of the IMS.

Leader of the Safety pillar ensuring the adequate follow-up and development of the required activities.

Test, suggest and define the personal protection equipment necessary for the different activities, as well as monitor the discipline in its use.

Coordination of safety weeks suggested by the division.

Filling of reports requested by Plant Management or the division.

Active participation in activities and events of the Human Resources departmen
