Controls Engineer – Manufacturing Support & Automation Projects

We are seeking a skilled Controls Engineer to join a dynamic manufacturing environment. This position plays a crucial role in enhancing operational efficiency by providing expert-level support for equipment automation, process improvement, and system documentation. You’ll contribute to both strategic initiatives and day-to-day support in operations and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

Drive continuous improvement across manufacturing processes, systems, and equipment with a focus on maximizing reliability and performance.

Offer hands-on engineering support in diagnosing and resolving issues related to electrical and automated machinery.

Design and implement machine and gauge control systems, integrated automation solutions (including robotics and servo systems), HMI interfaces, and real-time data acquisition platforms—aligned with internal engineering standards.

Lead and manage projects involving installation, upgrades, or modifications to machines and automation systems from conception to completion.

Develop and update documentation related to processes, equipment operations, and standard procedures.

Stay abreast of evolving technologies and best practices in controls engineering and manufacturing automation.

Deliver training to plant personnel on HMI and SCADA system usage and troubleshooting.

Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline

Minimum of 3 years’ experience commissioning and troubleshooting automated machinery and process control systems.

Proven proficiency in editing and creating PLC programs.

Capable of producing comprehensive and accurate electrical drawing packages.

Willingness and ability to travel internationally as needed.
