Then we simply give them the freedom to take their career (and Golderado) further.rnKey Information:rnrnMust be able to operator service truck in the field.rnMust be able to Repair and maintain all makes of heavy construction equipment.

(Dozers, Bulldozers, Excavators, Wheel Loaders, Scrapers, Water Wagons, Motor Graders, Compaction Rollers, Articulated Trucks)rnMust have heavy-duty mechanic certification.rnHours: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM -5:30 PM.

(8 Hours regular time, 2 hours over time)rnMust be willing to work evenings and weekends.

(on-call rotation)rnHourly rate is dependent on experience.

rnHealth benefits, pension plan, RRSP matching, vacation pay offered.rnrnJob Description:rnrnOperate service truck in field.rnAdjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts.rnBe able to Repair and maintain all makes of heavy construction equipment.

(Dozers, Bulldozers, Excavators, Wheel Loaders, Scrapers, Water Wagons, Motor Graders, Compaction Rollers, Articulated Trucks) is required.rnClean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work.rnService attachments and working tools.rnVerify and repair emission control systems.rnTroubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions.rnDiagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine the extent of repair required.rnTest repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers' specifications.rnKeep maintenance reports and documentation.rnInstruct apprentices.rnPerform repair work on heavy trucks.rnCommunicate with site management to coordinate maintenance priorities.rnPromote safety awareness by ensuring compliance with corporate health and safety policies and procedures.rnPerform preventative maintenance.rnOperate/drive heavy equipment safely at the work site requirements.rnrnExperience and Certification Requirements:rnrnHeavy Duty Mechanic Certification or be eligible to obtain the Certification.rnExperience in a leadership role is considered an asset.rnCompletion of a three- to five-year apprenticeship program or a combination of over three years of work experience in the trade and some high school, college, or industry courses in heavy equipment repair is required to be eligible for trade certification.rnKnowledge of troubleshooting/repairing CAT is an asset.rnKnowledge of troubleshooting/repairing John Deere and Hitachi equipment is an assetrnExperience in Heavy Civil Earthworks Construction and/or Infrastructure is required.rnA valid Alberta Class 5 Driver's License or equivalent is required.rnA driver's abstract is required and must be obtained no more than 30 days prior to employment start date.rnClass 3 Driver's License with air brakes is an asset.rnAbility to handle up to 23 kg.

(50 lbs.)rnA reliable means of transportation is required.rnProficient English language skills required.rnrnEducation: Journey Level Heavy Duty Mechanic Certification.rnGo ahead and be yourself.
