Machine Operator (Food Manufacturing)

Staff Plus is hiring an experienced Machine Operator in the Food Production Industry!

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Machine Operator – Filling Machine to join a dynamic food processing facility. If you have experience in food production and operating filling or packaging machinery, we want to hear from you!

Job Type: Temporary to Permanent

Location: Scarborough, ON

Pay Rate: $18.00/hr - $19.00/hr

Hours:

Day Shift: 8:30am - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday

Duties

As part of the team, you’ll be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:

Operate and monitor filling machines to accurately portion and fill food products

Set up machines at the beginning of shifts to ensure proper working order

Perform routine quality checks to ensure product consistency and compliance with safety and quality standards

Load materials (containers, packaging, food ingredients) into machines as needed

Troubleshoot and report any machine malfunctions or irregularities

Clean and sanitize equipment and work area according to food safety guidelines

Accurately record production data, downtime, and maintenance activities

Follow all safety and hygiene procedures in a food production environment

Perform other general production or warehouse tasks as assigned
