We help central and local government organisations, network utility providers, corporate and private clients across the country from our offices in Auckland, Hamilton, Hawke’s Bay, Wellington, New Plymouth and Christchurch.

What you'll do Based out of our Newmarket office, you will work across a range of significant infrastructure projects in Auckland and the surrounding regions, delivering great project and community outcomes for our clients.

You will have great stakeholder relationship and negotiation skills, excellent attention to detail and be a team player willing to contribute to the company and our culture.

Key tasks associated with the role will include: Lead landowner negotiations for the acquisition of land and property rights under the Public Works Act 1981; for a range of infrastructure projects Undertake stakeholder engagement and public consultation exercises Property due diligence, property strategies and property cost estimation Preparing client and Land Information NZ (LINZ) reports Project Management of acquisitions Work as part of a team, be accountable and take responsibility for your contribution to a project delivered by multiple team members Skills, experience and qualities The role will be suited to either an experienced intermediate or a senior property professional who has the following skills and experience: A relevant property or law-related tertiary qualification Ideally, you will have 5+ years of property experience relevant to the role Public Works Act and/or Local Government Act knowledge is preferred Comprehensive understanding of property and relevant legislation.

Ability to build a strong rapport with stakeholders and show empathy Excellent report writing skills and attention to detail Strong time management and organisational skills Ability to multitask and keep a cool head under pressure Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Project Ability to problem solve and think creatively to find solutions Current clean Full Driver's Licence If you are ready for a new challenge, want more variety in your work and want to be part of a motivated and growing company, then this role could be for you.
