Responsibilities:
A one-year contract with the potential to convert to a permanent position based on performance is a common arrangement.
Manage end-to-end procurement of capital equipment, plant machinery, construction,and infrastructure-related projects.
Work closely with engineering, projects, and finance teams to plan procurement in line with project timelines and budgets.
Evaluate technical and commercial proposals and lead supplier selection processes.
Negotiate CapEx contracts including warranties, installation, commissioning, and postsale support.
Support asset lifecycle planning, including disposal or redeployment of capital assets.
Source and manage third-party service providers (e.g., consulting, IT, maintenance,
logistics, facility management).
Develop and implement service-level agreements (SLAs) and key performance
indicators (KPIs).
Manage vendor relationships and conduct performance reviews to ensure service
quality and compliance.
Develop sourcing strategies that align with company objectives, focusing on value,
quality, risk management, and sustainability.
Identify cost-saving opportunities, process improvements, and risk mitigation
strategies.
Ensure all procurement activities comply with internal controls, corporate governance, and applicable laws.
Maintain accurate procurement documentation, contracts, and records.
Track market trends, supplier innovations, and benchmark pricing to inform decisions.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
Procurement certifications (e.g., CIPS, CPM) preferred.
5+ years of experience in procurement or strategic sourcing, with a strong focus on
CapEx and Services.
Proven track record of managing high-value capital projects and service contracts.
Experience in manufacturing, construction, energy, or industrial sectors is an
advantage.
Strong negotiation, contract management, and project coordination skills.
Financial acumen with the ability to understand cost structures and total cost of
ownership.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in procurement tools and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
