As we continue to grow, we’re looking for an experienced Enrolled Agent to join our team and play a key role in our tax compliance function.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Enrolled Agent with a minimum of 5 years of experience to review and sign individual and business tax returns. This position is ideal for someone who values autonomy, embraces technology, and enjoys working collaboratively in a supportive, flexible environment. The role can be based in Concord, NC or fully remote.

Key Responsibilities:

· Review federal and state tax returns prepared by staff for individuals, partnerships, S corporations, and C corporations

· Sign and file tax returns as the signing preparer (PTIN required)

· Provide feedback to staff to ensure high-quality and accurate return preparation

· Research complex tax issues and communicate findings clearly

· Respond to IRS/state notices and correspondence as needed

· Support client relationships through timely and professional communication

· Stay current with federal and state tax law changes

Qualifications:

· Active Enrolled Agent (EA) designation in good standing

· Minimum 5 years of tax preparation and review experience in a public accounting firm or similar environment

· Proficient in reviewing and signing tax returns for a variety of entity types

· Experience with CCH Axcess Tax

· Strong understanding of current tax laws and compliance requirements

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Able to work independently and manage deadlines
