Aspen Careers is partnering with a highly respected law firm in downtown Columbus to find a skilled Paralegal to join the firm's growing Probate and Trust Administration practice group. If you're experienced in trusts and estates, and you thrive in a detail-driven, client-first environment, this could be your next great opportunity!
Why You Should Apply:
Support attorneys in all phases of trust and estate administration
Draft and electronically file probate pleadings, accounting documents, and related legal filings
Assist with the collection, organization, and distribution of estate assets
Monitor case deadlines and manage task priorities effectively
Work closely with attorneys and clients to ensure timely and accurate document handling
Track and correct attorney time entries in accordance with firm billing policies
The Ideal Candidate:
3-4 years of paralegal experience in Probate and Trust administration
Tax experience preferred, but not required
Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as excellent proofreading skills
Ability to multi-task, and timely respond to deadlines as well as balance workload
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Court e-filing systems
