To strengthen our production sites of the Rügen Fisch group of companies in Germany (Sassnitz und Rostock) we are looking for a:
HSE Manager (w/m/d)
Your tasks:
Implementation of the group's HSE standards at local level, including conducting internal audits, incident management and training
Ensuring compliance with legal and group-internal HSE requirements, preparing for external and internal audits, managing HSE documentation
Leading accident investigations and implementing measures to prevent damage, emergency management and conducting ergonomic workplace assessments
Supporting plant management in developing and implementing a HSE improvement plan to align with group strategy
Conducting HSE training courses, promoting safety culture and organizing competence analyses
Implementing measures to reduce environmental impacts (e.g. noise reduction, waste management) and improving operational sustainability in cooperation with the local HSE manager at the Sassnitz site
Your profile:
At least 5 years of professional experience as a HSE manager in food production or FMCG industry
NEBOSH certificate in occupational safety and health (or German equivalent), IEMA certificate in environmental management (or German equivalent) - we provide the opportunity to acquire the relevant certification
Knowledge in implementing and controlling HSE standards, analytical thinking to solve complex safety issues and the ability to work efficiently in an international environment
Very good knowledge of English
High willingness to travel
