Key Responsibilities
Preparation, monitoring, and implementation of cost plans, contracts, budgets, service specifications, and other commercial documents
Preparing requests for quotations, evaluating quotations, and assessing contracts
Awarding contracts to subcontractors and suppliers and managing the control of supplements
Preparing, negotiating, and concluding orders
Preparing and negotiating payment plans
Preparing monthly cost value reconciliations (CVRs)
Payment transactions: processing invoices/final invoices and payments to suppliers, subcontractors, and customers
Tender management: preparing tender and contract documents, including specifications with the architect, other consultants, and/or the customer
Carrying out risk and value management and cost control
Advising on procurement strategy and contractual claims
Assessment of insurance
Evaluation and processing of warranties and guarantees
Identification, analysis, and development of responses to commercial risks
Preparation of cost estimates, review of tender calculations, and repair and maintenance projects
Analysis of results and preparation of detailed progress reports and cash flow forecasts
Evaluating completed projects, including payment transactions
Requirements, Experience & Background
Quantity Surveying, Business or technical degree or comparable qualification, technical background desirable
Experience in the commercial management of a large (international) project is an advantage
At least 3-5 years of construction site experience
Sound and in-depth knowledge of contract law, including FIDIC, EPC
Legal knowledge, including BGB, VOB
Independent, structured way of working, as well as initiative and assertiveness
Sound and business fluent German and English skills
Strong team player, able to work effectively even under time pressure
Willingness to travel and work on construction sites
