Low Voltage Technician

Job Description: AV contracting firm is looking for an installer with a minimum of 3 years experience. Must have a technical knowledge and understanding of audio, video and control systems. Must take ownership and responsibility of projects. A pleasant personality, neat appearance and the ability to deal professionally with clients and coworkers is a must.

Duties to include, but not limited to, rack assembly, audio, video and control terminations, loudspeaker, video projector, flat panel and projection screen mounting as well as programming, audio, video and control testing, system tuning and client instruction.

A driver's license and the willingness and ability to climb ladders and scaffolding is required. While evening and weekend work is rare, it may be required from time to time.

Time management, reliability and honesty is expected.

Skills: Understanding audio, video, computer networking, control and surveillance, Test equipment use.

Familiar with URC, Lutron, control 4, control systems a plus

Troubleshooting skills Understanding of Surveillance and Security a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year based on experience

Schedule:

8 hour shift

Monday to Friday
