Software Engineer

Onsite 4 days, Orlando FL

12 months contract with possible extension

85-90.00/hr on W2, DOE

Description:

This role will serve as a developer in the SCSP space, which will leverage technologies such as Java, Spring, GCP, GKE, MongoDB, Terraform, and Web Service interfaces such as JSON.

Responsibilities

Technical Expertise:

Proficient in Java, GCP, GKE, and MongoDB, with experience building scalable, high-volume applications and integrating with enterprise systems. Familiar with tools and practices such as GitLab, CI/CD pipelines, Terraform, Maven, Jenkins, and web services (SOAP/REST).Independent Execution:

Demonstrated ability to take high-level requirements and independently define user stories, design solutions, and implement features with minimal oversight. Comfortable owning the full development lifecycle from concept to deployment.Team Collaboration:

Works well in a collaborative team environment—actively participates in design discussions, shares knowledge, and aligns with team goals while independently driving assigned workstreams.Soft Skills

Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills. Experience working with distributed teams and mentoring junior developers is a plus.Required Qualifications

Proficient in Java, GCP, GKE, MongoDB

Experience with scalable applications, enterprise integrations

Familiar with GitLab, CI/CD, Terraform, Maven, Jenkins, SOAP/RESTPreferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)
